But don’t worry, tax and admin is our thing. We’re Hnry, and we can take care of it all for contractors, freelancers, and the self-employed. We’re like your does-it-all financial best mate and your accountant, rolled into one.
Here’s what we do:
• We automatically calculate and pay your taxes as you earn. Money comes into your Hnry account, we work out how much is owed (everything from income tax to student loans), pay it to the tax man, then you get the rest! Easy.
• All of this starts with our app. Here you can create invoices (which we’ll even chase for you), get business insights, and raise expenses – which are approved by real people, in real time.
• Now those real people – they actually become your accountant, which means all your tax returns (including any GST) are filed by us, whenever they’re due. They’re also on hand to answer any questions you might have.
• All that, and we only charge 1% of your income, as you get paid which is also capped at $1,500 bucks a year.
In short, we take care of all the dull admin stuff that you’re way too busy and important to spend your time on.

App is very buggy
I’ve been a user of Hnry for 18 months now and running into the issues as when I first started using their app. Constantly logs me out on my device and requires two factor from my email to log back in. Have had issues with double lines when sending my invoices, resulting in overcharging my clients. Little technical glitches when changing between screens and scrolling. Overall a good product but needs refining.

Love the refresh
Recent update seems to have fixed all previous issues others have previously mentioned! I’ve been using Hnry for about 5-6 months and have always used the browser (which looks and works wonderfully btw). Hesitated in that time downloading app due to poor reviews but gave it a go and honestly looks and works just as great as the browser! Not buggy or laggy, seems to have all same functionality. My experience with Hnry has been nothing short of excellent so far! Great work devs, thank you!
Good but
Hello can anyone say biometrics ?
Would be a lot better if you could use biometric login especially when on a customers site it takes so long to login to the app before you can do anything.
Seriously it’s 2022 not 1922.
Other wise it’s great saves me worrying about my tax stuff and they support is good easy to get an answer when your unsure of something which is great when you are just starting out and up until now have always worked for someone else.
